    Report of the Secretary-General on the Â鶹APP Interim Force in Lebanon <\/strong><\/span>(<\/span>S\/2002\/55<\/a>)<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n

\n

 The President<\/strong> : The Security Council will now begin its consideration of the item on its agenda. The Council is meeting in accordance with the understanding reached in its prior consultations.<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

  Members of the Council have before them document <\/span>S\/2002\/123<\/a>, which contains the text of a draft resolution prepared in the course of the Council’s prior consultations.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n

\n

  It is my understanding that the Council is ready to proceed to a vote on the draft resolution before it. <\/p><\/div>\n

\n

Unless I hear any objection, I shall put the draft resolution to the vote now. <\/p><\/div>\n

\n

 There being no objection, it is so decided.<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

    A vote was taken by show of hands.<\/i><\/p><\/div>\n

\n

  The President<\/strong><\/span> : There were 15 votes in favour. The draft resolution has been adopted unanimously as <\/span>resolution 1391 (2002)<\/a>.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n

\n

  The Security Council has thus concluded the present stage of its consideration of the item on its agenda.<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

    The meeting rose at 2 p.m.<\/i><\/p><\/div>\n

\n

\n
