Dr. Mahmoud Abbas, President of Palestine. The overview is as follows.<\/p>\n<p>1. In the beginning, President Abbas extended his congratulations to Minister Kono upon his appointment as Minister for Foreign Affairs. In return, Minister Kono expressed his gratitude towards President Abbas and his determination to further enhance relationship between Japan and Palestine as well as Japanese contribution to peace in the Middle East.<\/p>\n<p>2.
