Mr. Mahmoud Abbas, President of the State of Palestine.<\/p>\n<p>The Secretary-General and President Abbas discussed the Middle East Peace Process noting that the two-state solution is the only viable option to sustainable peace. The Secretary-General reiterated his commitment to a comprehensive and lasting resolution of the conflict.
