The Security Council will hold its monthly briefing tomorrow, 20 February, at 10 a.m. under the agenda item, “The situation in the Middle East, including the Palestinian question”. Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process, Nickolay Mladenov, is expected to brief the Council. Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas is expected to address the Council in person.
