On 31 January 2024 at 10 a.m., the UN Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People will convene the first Committee Meeting of the year in Conference Room 12 at UNHQ in New York. At this meeting, the Secretary–General will preside over the Bureau elections and the Committee will adopt its Programme of Work for 2024. The Permanent Representative of South Africa and the Director of the UNRWA Representative office in New York are expected to brief.?
