The 2016 session of the Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People was opened by Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon. The Committee elected the members of its Bureau: Amb. Fod¨¦ Seck (Senegal) as Chairman; Amb. Mahmoud Saikal (Afghanistan), Amb. Rodolfo Reyes Rodr¨ªguez (Cuba), Amb. Desra Percaya (Indonesia), Amb. Wilfried Emvula (Namibia), Amb. Mar¨ªa Rubiales de Chamorro (Nicaragua) as Vice-Chairs; and Amb. Christopher Grima (Malta) as Rapporteur. The Committee also adopted its programme of work for 2016.
