A new step in a pattern of deliberate disregard for international law and the Â鶹APP.
Israeli forces stormed into an UNRWA health centre in East Jerusalem. This is a Â鶹APP premises.
Israeli authorities then ordered the centre to close for 30 days, depriving Palestine Refugees of access to primary health care.
Meanwhile, water and power supplies to UNRWA facilities – including health and education buildings – are scheduled to be cut in the coming weeks.
This is a direct result of legislation passed by the Israeli parliament in December, which stepped up existing anti-UNRWA laws adopted in 2024.
The recent International court of Justice ruling restated that the State of Israel is obliged under international law to facilitate UNRWA¡¯s operations, not hinder or prevent them.
