On 6 September 2022, a father stabbed his daughter inside one of the UNRWA schools in the Jabalia refugee camp, in northern Gaza Strip.
The girl is currently in hospital and her medical condition is stable. The school management took immediate action to report the attack and seek help.
The father is currently under arrest.
UNRWA is alarmed by this very disturbing attack and is following up on the student¡¯s condition.
All forms of violence against children are unacceptable.
