• On 16 May,??and the??at Columbia University announced the launch of?, a new website that will serve as an online space for researchers and practitioners to explore new approaches to law in Israel/Palestine.

• On 24 May, at 10:30 am, the Israel Palestine Working Group is hosting a conversation with Rabbi Ascherman from? at the Presbyterian Conference Room in the Church Centre for the 麻豆APP in New York.

• On 27 May,??and? are organizing an evening of dance, stories, digital narratives and cultural resistance in commemoration of the Nakba in Oakland, California.

• On 1 June, opening its 16-days “Voices on Palestine: Summer Film Series 2016”,??is? the film “On the Bride’s Side”, which records the journey of five undocumented Syrian and Palestinian refugees seeking political asylum.

• On 3 June,??is organizing in Washington, D.C., a gallery??called?Forbidden Colors, which takes its name from a 1980 Israeli law forbidding art composed of the four colors of the Palestinian flag.

Europe

• From 21 to 23 May, several organisations and individuals from across Oxford, United Kingdom, are hosting the second edition of the city’s festival to celebrate Palestinian life and culture: “”.

• From 23 May to 5 June, the second edition of the? is taking place in Paris, aiming at promoting the Palestinian cinematographic work and supporting a new generation of artists in this field.

• On 28 May, the??is holding a? on “The de-Palestinization of East Jerusalem” in Paris.

• On 2?June, the??is??the movie?Le Temps Qu’il Reste, an auto-biography that traces with humour the journey of a Palestinian family of Nazareth from 1948 to nowadays, at 18h30 in Luxembourg.

Middle East

• On 14 April,??published a new? “No Way to Treat a Child”, detailing the widespread and systematic ill-treatment of Palestinian children in the Israeli military detention system.

• From 21 to 26 May, the annual??(PalFest) will be held in Ramallah, Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Haifa and Nablus as international literary stars perform free, public events.

• The Palestine, Decolonization and Human Rights Section of the UN Department of Public Information has decided to extend the application deadline for its? for Palestinian media practitioners until 31 May 2016.
