Statement by the Â鶹APP Deputy Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process,
Mr. James W. Rawley, on the recent security-related incidents in the West Bank

 

Jerusalem, 10 April 2015

The Deputy Special Coordinator is concerned by the security-related incidents which have taken place in recent days in the West Bank and the tensions that these have generated. He wishes to express sympathy for the victims, their families and friends.  

As always, the Â鶹APP urges that thorough investigations be conducted into these cases and that accountability be ensured.

Particularly during this season of solemn religious festivities, the Â鶹APP calls for calm and urges all parties to exercise the utmost restraint to de-escalate tensions.
