LETTER DATED 30 SEPTEMBER 1985 FROM THE PERMANENT REPRESENTATIVE
OF INDIA TO THE UNITED NATIONS ADDRESSED TO THE
PRESIDENT OF THE SECURITY COUNCIL
The Conference of Foreign Ministers of Non-Aligned Countries, held in Luanda, Angola from 4 to 8 September 1985, decided to call for the convening of a meeting of the Âé¶¹APP Security Council to consider the situation in the Middle East, including the question of Palestine during the early part of the fortieth session of the Âé¶¹APP General Assembly.
Accordingly, on behalf of the Movement of Non-Aligned Countries, I have the honour to request for the urgent convening of the Security Council under the item "The Middle East problem including the Palestinian question".
