31. In the Occupied Palestinian Territory, the Mine Action Service cleared explosive ordnance from several Â鶹APP facilities in Gaza, including the compound of the Office of the Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process, the UNICEF desalination plant and a school run by the Â鶹APP Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East, where an unexploded tank shell was found in a classroom. The Service also reached over 8,500 households with conflict preparedness training for at-risk populations.
