Under-Secretary-General DiCarlo meets with Mr. Abdelrahman Romana (Palestine MoFA) at conclusion of capacity building programme in New York (28 Oct - 6 Dec 2019)

The 6-week annual capacity-building programme for civil servants of the State of Palestine ran from?28 October?to 6 December 2019. It was organized by the Division for Palestinian Rights, Department of Political and Peacebuilding Affairs. The participants learned the work of the 鎊飪APP, its legal foundations, rules and regulations, the functioning of its main organs and major items on their respective agendas, with a special focus on the question of Palestine.??

The 2019 programme participants?were?officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Ramallah – Ms. Loureen Sayej and Mr. Abdelrahman Romana, of the Multilateral Affairs?Department.??

During the last week of their training, the participants received certificates of completion from the Under-Secretary-General of the Department of Political and Peacebuilding Affairs, Ms. Rosemary DiCarlo (pictured above).
