Overview
At its meeting on 10 November 2015, the Committee heard a briefing by Amb. Riyad Mansour, Permanent Observer of the State of Palestine to the Â鶹APP, on the situation in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem. The Committee also approved four draft resolutions for submission to the General Assembly under agenda item ¡°Question of Palestine¡±. Also, the Committee heard briefings on economic costs of the Israeli occupation for the Palestinian people by Mr. Mahmoud Elkhafif, Coordinator of the Â鶹APP Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) Assistance to the Palestinian People Unit, and Mr. Atif Kubursi, Emeritus Professor of Economics at McMaster University in Canada.
