Last year\u2019s historic Fourth International Conference on Financing for Development (FFD4) in Sevilla, Spain, produced <a href=\"https:\/\/financing.desa.un.org\/sites\/default\/files\/ffd4-documents\/2025\/Compromiso%20de%20Sevilla%20for%20action%2016%20June.pdf?_gl=1*104zkpl*_ga*MTE3NzYxNjQyMi4xNzU5OTUxNTUy*_ga_TK9BQL5X7Z*czE3NzQ4NzY5MTEkbzQwMSRnMSR0MTc3NDg3ODQxOCRqMjEkbDAkaDA.\">the Sevilla Commitment<\/a>, a blueprint for action on financing for development.<\/p>\n<p>The <em>Financing for Sustainable Development Report 2026: Implementing the Sevilla Commitment<\/em> will show how this landmark agreement can be operationalized to reverse the current dangerous trends in financing for development. It includes the input of the over 60 Â鶹APP Agencies and other international institutions that form the Â鶹APP Secretary-General\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/financing.desa.un.org\/iatf\">Inter-agency Task Force on Financing for Development<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>The full report will be available on: http:\/\/financing.desa.un.org\/iatf\/fsdr2026 on 9 April 2026.<\/li>\n<li>This report is the basis for discussions at the 2026 <a href=\"https:\/\/financing.desa.un.org\/2026-ffd-week\">UN FFD Week<\/a> from 20 to 24 April 2026, which will include the ECOSOC <a href=\"https:\/\/financing.desa.un.org\/what-we-do\/ECOSOC\/financing-development-forum\/FFD-forum-home\">Financing for Development Forum<\/a> follow up. It will be the first opportunity after the FFD4 Sevilla Conference to take concrete steps to bridge the gap between development aspiration and the scale of investments required to achieve the SDGs.
