Pursuant to paragraph 41 of General Assembly resolution 77\/335, I have reestablished the Advisory Board on Gender Equality as an informal mechanism to help mainstream a gender perspective across my priorities and the work of the General Assembly.<\/p>\n

The Advisory Board on Gender Equality,<\/strong> \u00a0includes representatives of Member States, the UN system, and relevant stakeholders to ensure synergies across the board and chart a transformative path that delivers for equality.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\u27a1\ufe0f21 of the nearly 200 world leaders who took the floor at last year\u2019s GA Debate were women.<\/p>\n

From engaging with women Ambassadors to launching training campaigns, we’re committed to gender parity at the UN.<\/p>\n

Let’s organize the General Assembly’s work with a continued focus on gender equality for impactful results.<\/p>\n
