Aime Triana Sevajanes has served as a Foreign Officer in the Ministry of foreign Affairs since 2022. After joining the ministry, she has provided research assistance and political advice about US-Cuba bilateral relations, and the impact of unilateral coercive measures. Aime has participated as member of the organizing team of the XX Edition of the series of Talks ¡°Cuba in the US foreign policy¡± and the first International Seminar ¡°Legal Implications of the Helms Burton Law in the US legal system, and its impact in International Law¡±.
Aime is graduated from the Higher Institute of Foreign Affairs Raul Roa Garcia, having completed a bachelor¡¯s degree in international relations. Currently she is candidate for a master¡¯s degree in Western Hemisphere Studies. With previous experience in Models of Âé¶¹APP (MUNs) as an undergraduate student, her research has included the work of multilateral organization in the context of Covid-19. She is author of nine articles published in national and international scientific reviews.
She speaks fluently English and Spanish and has working knowledge of French.
