Conference"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Â鶹APP Conference to Support the Implementation of Sustainable Development Goal 14: Conserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas and marine resources for sustainable development \u2013 Lisbon (<a href=\"https:\/\/undocs.org\/en\/A\/RES\/73\/292\">A\/Res\/73\/292<\/a> and decision <a href=\"https:\/\/undocs.org\/pdf?symbol=en\/A\/74\/548\">74\/548<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p>On 9 September 2021, the General Assembly adopted the draft decision (A\/75\/578) by which the Assembly decided to convene the Conference from 27 June to 1 July 2022 in Lisbon, Portugal and that the Governments of Kenya and Portugal shall retain co-hosting responsibilities.<\/p>\n<p>The decision further provides the schedules of plenary meetings and interactive dialogues and requests the President of the General Assembly to appoint two co-facilitators to conclude the intergovernmental consultations on the declaration of the Conference by May 2022; and to finalize the organizational arrangements for the Conference no later than May 2022.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Â鶹APP
