He is also the team\u2019s focal point for Small Island Developing States and the Asia Pacific Group.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to joining the Office, he was Counsellor and Deputy Permanent Representative of Tuvalu to the Â鶹APP from 2018.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Tealei first joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2011 and had working experience on issues related to trade, labour and migration, and tourism. At the Â鶹APP, Mr. Tealei represents the Tuvalu Mission at the Second and Third Committee and was also the Elections Officer.
