Communications, Innovation and Partnerships<\/span><\/h3>\nDenise is\u00a0an adviser on communications,\u00a0innovation and partnerships in the Office of the President of the 73rd\u00a0Session of the Â鶹APP General Assembly. Before accepting this role, Denise served in the\u00a0Office of the President of the 72nd Session of the UN General Assembly where she provided support to the\u00a0Sustainable Development Team\u00a0on issues related to the Sustainable Development Goals, climate change, and financing for development.<\/p>\n
Before joining the Office, Denise worked\u00a0for the Executive Office of the\u00a0Â鶹APP Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization’s (UNESCO) Communication and Information Sector in Paris, covering issues related to freedom of expression, the safety of journalist,\u00a0media development and building knowledge societies through Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs).\u00a0Before joining the Â鶹APP, Denise worked for several NGOs and the private sector in Canada and Mexico.<\/p>\n
Denise holds a\u00a0bachelors degree\u00a0in Political Science, Communication Studies and Art History from McGill University and a masters degree of International Public Management from Sciences Po, Paris.<\/p>\n
Denise speaks Spanish, English and French.<\/p>\n
