Joyce Fan is an Administrative Assistant in the Office of the President of the 72nd Session of the Â鶹APP General Assembly, a position she also held during the 71st\u00a0<\/sup>\u00a0Session of the General Assembly.<\/p>\n

Prior to joining the office, Joyce worked in the Outreach Unit of the Department of Management in the Â鶹APP Secretariat. She also joined the Media Accreditation and Liaison Unit of the Department of Public Information during the General Debate of the\u00a069th<\/sup>\u00a0Session of the Â鶹APP General Assembly.<\/p>\n

In previous positions, Joyce gained experiences in reporting, storytelling and documentary producing in several international and Chinese media outlets, as well as conducting academic and clinical research on the social or structural disadvantages faced by marginalized groups in the United States.<\/p>\n

Joyce has a Master degree in Multi-Cultural Psychology from Columbia University, and speaks English and Chinese.<\/p>\n

Ambreen Fatima Anwar Husain is an intern with the Office of the President of the 71st Session of the Â鶹APP General Assembly, New York, focusing on political issues. She is a graduate of Dr. RML National Law University, India, with a combined Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws (Honours). Prior to her internship with the Office of the President of the General Assembly, Ambreen worked at an Intellectual Property law firm in India, with a particular focus on trade marks. While pursuing her Bachelor\u2019s course, she interned with the Women\u2019s Rights Cell of Lawyer\u2019s Collective, where she analyzed the trends in judicial announcements relating to the law of Protection of Women from Domestic Violence. While pursuing \u00a0additional internships in areas varying from intellectual property rights and corporate law to human rights law, she developed her skills in research and writing.
