"The primary objective of the Third LDC Future Forum is to convene policy-makers, researchers, the private sector, and other stakeholders to share concrete innovative solutions and practical policy recommendations aimed at enhancing the resilience of LDCs. This will contribute towards enabling LDCs to manage and adapt to both current and future systemic shocks. Emphasizing gender equality and the participation of women and girls in these discussions will be key to developing holistic and inclusive solutions."

Ministerial Roundtable: Finding a way to a Resilient Future

This Ministerial Roundtable draws attention to the unreported successes LDCs have achieved in building resilience and will focus on which strategic interventions and innovative solutions have supported these efforts.

High-Level Dialogue

High-Level dialogue on innovative financing mechanisms and partnerships to promote resilient economies in LDCs
High-level dialogue on key initiatives to accelerate resilience in LDCs

Thematic Sessions

Thematic session 1: Exploring climate-smart agriculture practices to improve food security and to ensure sustainable agricultural development
Thematic session 2: Developing comprehensive strategies to bolster resilience through sustainable water management and renewable energy integration
Thematic session 3: Exploring innovative approaches to promote economic diversification and enhance resilience through circular economy and sustainable industrial practices
Thematic session 4: Discussion on designing and implementing targeted social safety nets to strengthen community resilience against multiple shocks

Fireside chat: The role of partnerships in enhancing resilience in LDCs

In an era of growing global challenges, partnerships are key to building resilience in LDCs. This session will explore innovative collaboration models that are driving climate adaptation, economic diversification, and sustainable development in LDCs.

Roundtable discussion with practitioners on monitoring the Doha Programme of Action (DPoA) Implementation

As we approach the halfway mark in implementing the Doha Programme for LDCs, it is essential to assess progress, monitor commitments, and address any gaps in delivery. This session will explore strategies for strengthening follow-up and monitoring mechanisms at national, regional, and global levels, ensuring alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Join experts and stakeholders in discussing ways to enhance coordinated implementation, reinforce accountability, and mobilize international support to drive sustainable development in LDCs.
