About the Event<\/h3>\n<\/div>

The launch of the Global Report, Maximizing Business Contributions to Sustainable Development and Positive Peace: A Human Security Approach <\/em>is part of a series of activities and publications led by LSE Ideas and supported by the UN Trust Fund for Human Security in partnership with others. The report explains what a human security approach means for business and highlights issue areas, such as, information technology, impact investing, post-conflict development, migration and forced displacement where the private sector can make a difference by contributing to the SDGs in this Decade of Action.<\/p>\n

The Launch Event provides a forum to engage business, policymakers, academics and civil society on the forthcoming report. It will demonstrate the added value of the Human Security Business Partnership Framework for communities, businesses and other actors to achieve the SDGs and build back better in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.<\/p>\n
