To shore up the Government¡¯s drug eradication efforts and to address the economic insecurity faced by rural farmers in the Oudomxay province, the programme contributed to the Government¡¯s efforts to reduce personal and economic dependency on illicit drugs and supported farmers with alternative livelihoods.
