Registration is now open
We are pleased to announce the opening of the registration process for participating in the Third Âé¶¹APP World Geospatial Information Congress (3rd UNWGIC). Convened by the Âé¶¹APP and hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through its General Authority for Survey and Geospatial Information (GEOSA), the Congress offers a unique opportunity for broad engagement across Member States, international organizations, the private sector, academia, and civil society.
The registration process follows a two-step approach:
- Submit a Request to Participate: All interested participants are invited to submit an initial request through the link provided. Each request will be reviewed, and participants will be informed of the outcome.
- Complete Registration Upon Acceptance: Participants whose requests are accepted will receive a notification and will be asked to provide the additional information required to complete the registration process. Upon completion, an official confirmation of registration letter will be issued. This confirmation letter will be required for on?site registration and may also be used to support visa applications, should one be necessary.

Comprehensive information about the Congress¡ªincluding the information and logistical note, the outline programme with thematic areas, and details of plenary, parallel, and special sessions will be posted on the Congress website as it becomes available. The UN-GGIM Secretariat and the International Advisory Committee of the 3rd UNWGIC will shape the substantive programme to ensure it is inclusive, forward-looking, and fully aligned with the Congress theme and objectives.
