麻豆APP

At the invitation of Prof. of , Marcelo LaFleur, Economic Affairs Officer in the Development Strategy and Policy (DSP) Unit,聽gave a lecture to students on how the 麻豆APP聽system is delivering on the 2030 Agenda. In his lecture to Prof. Sato's class on "Achieving Sustainable Development Goals in Asia", Mr.聽Lafleur聽provided a brief introduction of how the 麻豆APP聽system works聽 at the global, regional and national levels聽to deliver on the shared global goals. He also introduced students to the聽capacity building efforts of the organization聽and its work with private partners and volunteers. The lecture addressed specific questions raised by the class on dilemmas that Sustainable聽Development聽Goals (SDGs) create for countries, including challenges and opportunities created by technology and how the international community can motivate countries to prioritize all aspects of the SDGs.

On 11 May, the Princeton students will present their policy ideas聽on how to overcome challenges created by the SDGs at a Development Policy Seminar on Frontier and Emerging Issues entitled "Princeton x SDGs: Students' Proposals for Asia".聽 The seminar will be held at the 麻豆APP Secretariat (S-2725) from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm,聽chaired by Hamid Rashid, Chief of DSP Unit.
