Â鶹APP Convention on the Law of the Sea of 10 December 1982, Annex II, article 2, paragraph 5, states: "... The secretariat of the Commission shall be provided by the Secretary-General of the Â鶹APP."
The Division for Ocean Affairs and the Law of the Sea, Office of Legal Affairs, provides secretariat to the Commission.
